The game has changed over the years, and the Oil Kings Alumni Association has evolved with it.
What started as a way to keep former teammates connected has grown into a broader Alumni community that welcomes former Oil Kings players, coaches, staff, trainers, scouts, managers, supporters, and Edmonton-area WHL alumni.
The purpose remains the same: preserve the stories, maintain the friendships, and keep the Oil Kings legacy alive through regular events, alumni updates, and opportunities to reconnect.

Year-Round Alumni Connection
The Oil Kings Alumni Association remains active throughout the year with regular gatherings, game nights, lunches, special events, and opportunities for alumni to reconnect.
For many years, the Oil Kings Alumni Golf Tournament was one of our signature events. While the tournament is no longer part of the current event schedule, it remains an important part of our history and will continue to be recognized as part of the Alumni legacy.
We welcome former Oil Kings players, coaches, staff, trainers, scouts, managers, supporters, and Edmonton-area WHL alumni who want to stay connected with the Alumni community.

The Oil Kings Alumni Association continues to bring former teammates, friends, supporters, and Edmonton-area WHL alumni together through regular events, shared history, and lasting friendships. Our goal is to keep the Alumni community connected, welcome new alumni into the group, and preserve the stories that make the Oil Kings legacy special.
Who We Welcome
The Oil Kings Alumni Association welcomes former Oil Kings players, coaches, staff, trainers, scouts, managers, supporters, and Edmonton-area WHL alumni who want to stay connected with the group.
The Alumni expanded its reach to include WHL graduates from the Edmonton area, recognizing that junior hockey has changed over the years while the friendships, stories, and shared hockey history remain just as important.
The goal is simple: keep former teammates, friends, sponsors, and supporters connected through regular Alumni events, updates, and opportunities to reconnect.
